自2007年以來，我校已經(jīng)同密西西比州立大學(xué)（MSU）成功合作舉辦了兩屆本科生赴美英語培訓(xùn)班。赴美短期培訓(xùn)已成為我校學(xué)生了解美國本土文化和企業(yè)文化的重要渠道，對學(xué)生提高英語交流溝通能力，擴大國際視野，提高自我認識，樹立遠大理想有極大的促進作用。經(jīng)與密西西比州立大學(xué)協(xié)商，2009年寒假繼續(xù)開展為期四周的國際培訓(xùn)項目。
　　簡要內(nèi)容如下（詳細內(nèi)容參照英文介紹）：
　　1．英語培訓(xùn)：英語聽、說、讀、寫、語法強化學(xué)習(xí)，四個層次的英語語言課程，每周20個小時；與國外本土學(xué)生對話交流。
　　2．文化活動：下午、晚上豐富多彩的各種集會和市內(nèi)文化活動。
　　3．周末旅行：美國南部城市納斯維爾或亞特蘭大的周末旅行和圖珀洛的一天周末旅行。
　　項目時間：2009年1月31日～2月28日
　　項目費用：$2,825。包括注冊費、學(xué)費、書費、住宿、機場接送、在美國期間的健康保險、周末旅行費。往返美國機票費、在美國期間的伙食費自理。
　　報名條件：我校全日制學(xué)生。提前自行準備護照。下載報名表
　　報名日期：即日起報名，截止到2008年10月20日。（本項目限報50人，經(jīng)英語水平測試選拔30人左右參加簽證）

Total Cost (4-week program)
January 31-February 28, 2009 $2,825.00 per student
The program cost includes tuition, housing, books, fitness center fees, health center fees (X-rays and shots), student health insurance, airport pickup from the Golden Triangle Regional Airport, a weekend trip, and a day trip. Travel to and from the United States, food, and personal expenses (including some optional cultural and sporting events) are not included in the program cost.
