曹棟璞博士，英國克蘭菲爾德大學汽車工程系講師，2008至2011年在加拿大滑鐵盧大學博士后, 2011年5月至2014年2月在英國蘭卡斯特大學任講師和機械工程研究生部主任。研究方向為車輛系統動力學與控制、新能源車系統控制與集成，發表文章70余篇（其中9篇Vehicle System Dynamics），4部SCI汽車專刊，一個美國專利。獲ASME AVTT’2010國際會議最佳論文獎和2012 SAE Arch T. Colwell Merit Award。目前任IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology主編，IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics和International Journal of Vehicle Design副主編，Mechanical Systems and Signal Processing，International Journal of Vehicle Performance，International Journal of Powertrains和機械工程學報等期刊編委。曾受邀擔任Vehicle System Dynamics，International Journal of Vehicle Design，Mechanical Systems and Signal Processing客座主編，目前任IEEE/ASME Transactions on Mechatronics客座主編。2011年起任國際汽車工程師學會SAE車輛動力學標準委員會委員，參與制訂車輛動力學及控制國際標準。
